On-site wound rounds put a wound-focused clinician at the bedside on a predictable cadence the facility sets. Weekly case review focuses on residents whose wounds are not progressing or whose plans need adjustment. Documentation supports the facility’s quality reporting requirements, and family communication runs through the facility’s existing protocols so the resident’s designated contact is part of the loop.
