What we treat

Six condition categories, treated where the patient lives.

We focus on the wounds that benefit most from in-home specialist management — where transport burden, clinic delays, and humidity all compromise healing.

01

Diabetic foot ulcers

Offloading, sharp debridement, infection management, and coordination with podiatry and vascular when revascularization is needed.

02

Venous leg ulcers

Multilayer compression therapy and edema control. Pre- and post-vascular intervention follow-up at the patient's address.

03

Pressure ulcers (bedsores)

Stage I–IV care, wound-surface and offloading strategy, family and caregiver education for prevention of recurrence.

04

Post-surgical wounds

Dehisced incisions, surgical-site infections, and complex closures — managed without sending the patient back to the hospital.

05

Wound VAC · NPWT

Negative-pressure wound therapy initiation, dressing changes, and weaning — in-home, with full DME coordination.

How we work

A hospital wound clinic, without the transport.

Most chronic wounds in Florida fail to heal not because the medicine is wrong — but because the patient can't reliably reach the clinic. Heat, traffic, mobility loss, and humidity-driven recurrence all compound. We close that gap.

Visits are scheduled to the address of the patient, whether that's a private home, an ALF, an SNF, or post-acute housing. Documentation is delivered into the referring physician's EMR — not faxed, not lost, not delayed.

Frequently asked

Common questions from referrers and families.

Do you accept insurance?
Most major commercial plans, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage. We verify coverage before the first visit and confirm any patient responsibility in writing. We do not currently accept straight Medicaid in all counties — ask us about your specific plan.
How fast can you see a patient?
For inpatient discharge planning and acute referrals, we routinely see patients the same week, often same day. Standard outpatient referrals are scheduled within 3 business days.
What kinds of wounds do you treat?
Diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (Stage I–IV), post-surgical wounds and dehiscences, traumatic wounds, and wound VAC / NPWT management. We do not treat acute trauma requiring an ER, active osteomyelitis without surgical coordination, or burns greater than 2nd-degree.
Do you go to assisted living and skilled nursing facilities?
Yes — ALFs, SNFs, and post-acute housing across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. We also work directly with discharge planners to take patients on at the moment they leave the hospital.
Will the referring physician see notes?
Documentation is delivered into the referring physician's EMR within 24 hours of the visit — with photographs, measurements, treatment performed, and the plan for the next visit.
Who is the clinician?
Visits are conducted by a wound-care specialist trained in inpatient and outpatient hospital wound centers. We are a small practice by design — the patient sees the same clinician each visit.
How do I refer a patient?
Call (954) 947-0148 or use our referral form. We accept verbal referrals from inpatient teams and digital referrals from outpatient practices and home-health agencies.
